Summary
There are 7 weapons inThrone and Libertyand some of them are better than others atgetting players to the maximum level. This depends on a player’s skill level, as weapons that can deal more damage can speed things up, but being too glassy can have the opposite results.
Players that are new to the game will want to favor a tankier build, as this can allow them to learn the game while also progressing at a fast pace. Those with more experience will want DPS builds for faster progression. Both are great choices, and it comes down to which playstyle a player will be more comfortable with.
7Wand & Tome
Go-to Support Player Weapon
The Wand and Tome weapon is thego-to choice for support players. It will provide players with a plethora of healing and crowd control options to aid their allies. On its own, this is a poor choice for leveling, as it is designed to primarily be used by Support characters.
However, when used in a group, it can help players clear through the game at a faster pace. For solo players, it is recommended to look into different weapons, but for a player who knows they will be playing a Support, they’ll want to make this one of their choices.
6Longbow
Adds Self-Sustaining to Everything
The Longbow works well as a weapon that makes other builds better. It can provide a ton of versatility through self-healing and mana regeneration, but is also a great choice for long-range damage dealers.
Players that want to deal high amounts of damage at any range will want to consider pairing this weapon with Daggers, while those who want a challenging stationary playstyle can add the Staff. Placement with this weapon is key, and it works better in a group than in solo play due to how glassy it can be. Pairing this with a staff is also one of thebest builds for GvG.
5Staff
A Versitile Choice That Isn’t for Everyone
DPS will always help players to progress faster, and this weapon has some builds that will give players the means to progress at a fast pace alongside their preferred means of defending themselves.
The Greatsword can increase the player’s health while also destroying weakened enemies at point-blank range. Daggers will make the player more darty and grant escape options, allowing them to close in and disengage at optimal times.
Builds that level up the fastest using the Staff are not ideal for end game activities. Players that want to perform their best with a Staff playstyle are better suited to a slower leveling build with more end game potential.
4Sword and Shield
Outlast Whatever is Thrown at You
Players that want toplay a Tank above all elsewill want one of their weapons to be this one. When a player pairs the Wand and Tome with the Sword and Shield, the result is arguably the best back row support in the game. It can heal itself and allies, take plenty of hits, crowd control, and is one of the easiest builds to play. This comes at the cost of damage output, but it more than makes up for it with just how much it helps out the rest of the team.
Players that instead pair their Sword and Shield with a Crossbow will have an incredible build for beginners. This build can take down enemies at any range, meaning players will never find themselves struggling at any point in the game and able to keep pressing on to their next objective.
3Crossbow
Great DPS Choice
The faster a player can make their way through the story, the faster they can get to their maximum level. Crossbows accomplish just that in providing some of the best long-range damage in the game. In fact, when paired with Daggers they formthe highest DPS build possible, the scorpion.
Players that can master this build will have an end game DPS build that few players will ever be able to use. This is due to it being incredibly difficult, and those that cannot get the hang of it will see the rate at which they progress drop significantly. New players should rather pair this weapon with a Longbow, as it is far easier and will retain alot of its DPS potential.
2Greatsword
Decimate at Close Range
The Greatsword is very melee focused, but it will give players a massive amount of melee damage while also raising their health. This weapon lets players close the gap ridiculously fast and crowd control enemies to punish whatever lands up in their path. When paired with the Wand and Tome, players will have a build that can support allies with healing and crowd control, and then switch to contributing to being a frontline damage dealer.
Whenpaired with the Sword and Shield, players will be able to charge right up to their opponents and just beat them to a pulp with the highest health and damage mitigation possible. Both of these are easy to play, and play well in the end game.
1Dagger
Big Boost to Critical Hits and Survivability
Daggers are an amazing DPS weaponto pair with thanks to their focus on Critical Hits. Daggers also give players plenty of escape options and mobility, making them perfect for players that want high risk, high reward.
Players thatpair this with a Greatswordwill have a true monster to unleash on their opponents, one that can, and will, tear through mobs and bosses alike. This build takes time and skill to get the hang of, but players that want to play a melee build that will burn through the story will have it. Players that opt for the Sword and Shield will instead have something far more tanky that still dishes out plenty of damage. Daggers are one of thebest PvP choicesfor a reason.
