There are a lot of weapons to choose from inDelta Force, with all of them becoming available at specific levels. As players progress, they will unlock more and more guns that they can bring with them into battle. This makes the grind a worthwhile experience that offers enticing rewards for completing the progression.

However, that doesn’t mean that thefirstDelta Forceweaponsavailable are necessarily terrible options. In fact, some of them can be just fine to take into a match. It all depends on knowing which ones work the best and that’s why this guide is here to lay out which ones are worth choosing.

Delta Force - CAR-15

1CAR-15 Assault Rifle

All-Around Excellent Weapon

Easily the best weapon that players can use at Level 1, the CAR-15 assault rifle can do pretty much everything that somebody would need it to. It has good range, solid damage, and allows players to engage from both a distance and up close. It can handlejust about anything in the game and will give players the best chance to find success in the early stages as they level up.

Adding the right attachments will also make this weapon even better. If a person wants to sit back and pick off enemies from a distance, they can throw on a good scope and barrel attachments to compensate for the long distance. Or if they want to be more of a run-and-gun kind of soldier, they can have the gun using a Red Dot Sight and a stock that canimprove the weapon’s handling. The CAR-15 is thebestDelta Forceweapon for new players.

Delta Force - AKS-74

2AKS-74 Assault Rifle

Excellent Damage Makes Up For Slow Firing

The AKS-74 assault rifle is the secondbest Level 1Delta Forceweapondue to its damage output. While it comes with the slowest firing rate of any Level 1 assault rifle, it also boasts the best damage of them all. There won’t be as many bullets being fired, but the ones that do land will certainly leave a mark on the enemy. That is well worth the trade-off.

While it can have a pretty unwieldy amount of recoil when firing, theright attachments can make the AKS-74much more manageable. Putting on the right muzzle, stock, and grip can go a long way to making this assault rifle much more accurate than its base form. All in all, this makes it truly a viable weapon to carry into any battle, though players may want to keep long-distance shots to a minimum.

Delta Force - M16A4

3M16A4 Assault Rifle

Solid, If Not Spectacular

M16A4 Assault Rifle is the final assault rifle available at Level 1. The M16A4 is not the best of the best, but it is quite good. It comeswith a three-round burst-fire mode that provides little recoil and better accuracy than other rifles on this list. The only thing is that it does have some power loss in that, so it will take a couple of bursts, usually, to take the enemy out in a timely manner.

The issue with the M16A4 is not even really that much of an issue at all, and it’s just that it is pretty unassuming. While it isn’t bad, it just also doesn’t do enough as an assault rifle to separate itself from the other options. The other two available each bring something that gives them a slight edge, but that doesn’t mean players can’t use this one effectively. It just might not be as flashy as the other options.

Delta Force - M249

4M249 Light Machine Gun

Lots Of Bullets, Lots of Damage

Light machine guns are always going to deliver an insane amount of bullets in a short amount of time. This one is no different, and it provides some excellent suppression when a team needs it. Laying down cover fire as a person’s teammates move up to an objective can be a huge help, while also being able to lay into a vehicle that goes by is always nice.

The only thing is that the M249 can be a little hard to control with its recoil while sustaining fire, and it also has a long reload animation. Trying to reload this behemoth at the wrong time can result in an untimely death.

Delta Force -Mini-14

5Mini-14 Marksman Rifle

Pepper Enemies From A Distance

So far, the highlighted long-range weaponry has not included a gun purely dedicated to that kind of fighting. That changes with this rifle, which is all about trying to pepper enemies while crouched or lying down a ways away from them. The Mini-14 has a good range in its base form that can be improved upon with the right attachments as well.

However, for being a marksman rifle, it just feels pretty weak to use. Even with the right attachments, it just doesn’t have the impact that this type ofrifle tends to have in FPS games.

Delta Force - UZI

6UZI Submachine Gun

Quick And Efficient

The UZI has always been a weapon that is about firing off a speedy barrage of bullets at someone when they are at close quarters. It’s been that way for severalFPS titlesand this one is no different. It can shred an opponent if they are not aware of their attacker’s position.

The downside is that it just doesn’t work for any other situations inDelta Force. It can’t do damage from a distance, nor can it do enough damage to sometimes make a hail-mary shot successful. It’s just kind of an anticlimactic gun to use.

Delta Force - M870

7M870 Shotgun

Powerful, But Slow

As is the case with mostshotguns in FPS games, the M870 comes with a powerful punch with each shot at the cost of accuracy from a distance. While that can be an appealing thing in the right situation, those kinds of scenarios just aren’t going to happen enough to make it worth it.

The M870 isn’t a bad gun, but with how large some of these battles can be, it just isn’t worth taking. There are going to be far more opportunities for players to engage with their opponents from a distance, so it makes assault rifles the best option here.
