While Chasca scales primarily with ATK, similar to other DPS characters, her Elemental Conversion sets her apart. This means, depending on the team composition, she’ll be able to deal different elemental DMG with her attacks. This makes her particularly well-suited for multi-element teams that can provide her with a variety of swirlable elements (Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, Electro) to maximize her potential.That being the case, certain artifacts and weapons th effects will have higher synergy with her kit than others.

Chasca Best Artifact In Genshin Impact

This set offers a significant increase to her overall DMG output while also boosting her Crit Rate by a substantial 40% whileconsuming Nightsoul Points. Combined with her own Ascension stat, this allows Chasca to easily reach around 65% Crit Rate without the need to rely heavily on weapon or artifact main stats and sub-stats. As a result, players can focus entirely on maximizing Crit DMG in their artifact builds, making it easier to achieve the ideal Crit Value ratio for peak performance.
That said, players who have had poor luck farming for Obsidian Codex artifacts may want to consider alternative sets until they can get their hands on better pieces. One strong option is the4-piece Marechaussee Hunter, which pairs exceptionally well withChasca when teamed up with Furina, one of her top support options. The Crit Rate boost on normal and charged attacks synergizes well with Chasca’s playstyle, as the DMG from her Nightsoul State still will count as those, despite not scaling with the Normal Attack Talent. Another potential option is the4-piece Shimenawa’s Reminiscence. Although it’s an older set, it can still be effective if players are not prioritizing Chasca’s Elemental Burst, as the set’s DMG boost for Normal/Charged/Plunging ATK will be helpful.
For players struggling to complete a 4-piece set, combining two hybrid 2-piece sets like2-piece Obsidian Codexwith a2-piece ATK% setsuch asGladiator’s Finalecan serve as a temporary solution. Otherwise pairing two different 2pc ATK% sets is also viable. However, it’s highly recommended that players aim to equip Chasca with a full4-piece Obsidian Codexset as soon as possible, as it offers the highest overall performance and best synergy with her kit, allowing her to excel as an on-field DPS unit even if the Crit Values especially aren’t on par with the other options.
For Chasca’s main-stat recommendations, players are advised to use anATK% Sands, anATK% Goblet, and aCrit DMG Circlet. Given Chasca’s ability to perform Elemental Conversion with her attacks, she won’t benefit as much from an Anemo DMG Goblet, since her attacks can adopt various elemental types based on her team composition. In certain scenarios, where the team consists mainly of one other element like Pyro (alongside a non-swirlable element user such asXilonen), players might consider using a Pyro DMG Goblet instead. However, this strategy can limit her versatility, as it forces players to adjust artifacts depending on the team. Using an ATK% Goblet instead offers more flexibility, allowing Chasca to easily swap between different team compositions without the need to switch artifacts.
For the Circlet, opting for a Crit DMG Circlet is recommended. Using a Crit Rate Circlet would result in an excessive amount of Crit Rate when combined with the bonus from Obsidian Codex, pushing her Crit Rate close to 100%, which leads to diminishing returns. A Crit DMG Circlet provides a better balance, especially if players can secure a few Crit Rate sub-stats from their artifacts. Regarding sub-stats, players should prioritizeCrit Rate and Crit DMG, followed byATK%, Elemental Mastery, and lastlyEnergy Recharge. Although Chasca’s Elemental Burst is not as central to her kit as her Elemental Skill, it remains beneficial to aim for activating it each rotation for additional DMG and utility.
Chasca Best Weapon In Genshin Impact
In general, players should prioritize weapons for Chasca that boostCrit DMG,ATK%,orCharged Attack DMG, especially when choosing among 5-star options. Her signature weapon,Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage, fits perfectly into this criterion, offering a high Crit DMG secondary stat along with bonuses to ATK%, Charged Attack DMG, and Elemental Burst DMG under easy-to-meet conditions. This makes it her top choice, providing a significant boost to her damage output and playstyle.
For those not planning to obtain her signature weapon,Aqua Simulacrais another strong option, given its massive Crit DMG sub-stat and general DMG increase. While the HP bonus on Aqua Simulacra isn’t directly beneficial for Chasca, the overall damage boost makes it a great choice regardless. On the other hand,The First Great Magic, Lyney’s signature weapon, can also be considered due to its Crit DMG and Charged Attack DMG bonus. However, it relies on having team members of the same element for the ATK% boost, which does not align well with Chasca’s diverse Elemental Conversion abilities. Therefore, Aqua Simulacra generally offers better synergy and damage potential.
As for F2P options,Song of StillnessfromFontaine’s craftable weapon seriesstands out as the best choice. It boasts a high base ATK and can provide a significant DMG increase when fully refined, making it a reliable alternative for players without premium weapons. While other options likeSkyward Harp,Scion of the Blazing Sun, andFlower-Wreathed Featherscan theoretically outperform Song of Stillness, they require high refinements to be effective. Specifically, Flower-Wreathed Feathers and Scion of the Blazing Sun need to be max refined, which may be challenging for F2P players to achieve, making them less accessible and practical compared to a fully refined Song of Stillness.
