There’s so much to love aboutBaldur’s Gate 3.Players can make choices that impact the story, pick a party out of several different companions, and customize each companion through Feats, Classes, and Subclasses. However, one of the biggest appeals ofBG3is the insanely dedicated modding scene. This has allowed players to implement many changes, from minor tweaks such as adding additional Races and Classes to much more dramatic mods that change the way the game is played. In some scenarios, moders even add new game modes, such the Trials of Tav Roguelike mode.

One of the many mods available forBaldur’s Gate 3players is the Real Time Combat Mod. As the name suggests, this mod alters the combat encounters inBG3to play in real-time, rather thanturn-based combat. Players can use a fully customizable QuickCast system, as well as reworked Dash and Jump mechanics, and a Mana system with scaling Mana costs and regeneration.
