For any new or returning player in themultiplayer adventure RPGAtlyss, you will need to stock up on Crowns to purchase new items such as weapons and armor. Crowns are the local currency in the game, and can be obtained in a number of ways to purchase any item you’re looking for.

However,Atlyssdoes not explicitly inform the players how they can go about obtaining Crowns. Luckily, there are a few different methods for obtaining the currency, and all are tasks that you will be completing regularly. Here’s how you’re able to add some Crowns to your bag for purchasing new items and gear.

How to Get Crowns in Atlyss

For anyone who is new to theAtlyssworld, you will start out with zero Crowns. This will make it impossible toupgrade your items and gearuntil you obtain the currency. In summary, these are the methods you’ll be able to use:

Completing Quests

The first method you can use to get some Crowns for your efforts is bycompleting some main or side quests. To pick up quests, all you need to do is talk toany NPCsnearby, often those that work in specificshops or zones. They will usually have a quest available for you. You can also check main cities or portals where quest-giving NPCs can be found.

Defeating Enemies and Bosses

Whenever you go into field zones, you’re bound to stumble on a few enemies. The first place you’ll visit with enemies is theOuter Sanctum Gate,which can be reached by teleporting through the portal. You can take on some slime enemies here, and each one will drop around 4 Crowns. As you get further in the game, you’ll also findbosses that can provide you with substantial loot.

Selling Valuable Items

As you defeat more enemies and explore, you’ll often pick up valuable loot that can be sold to vendors for a high price. For example, in the Sanctum, you can visitSally the Shopkeepand choose “I want to trade!” From here, click on the items on the right in your inventory that you want to sell to her, and she will give you Crowns in return.

Exploring New Areas

As you explore new locations, you’ll find new enemies that you can battle, which will drop loot and Crowns for you to pick up. But, you can also explore the area without battling, and you’re sure to find some loot lying around that could contain Crowns. For example, in the Catacombs, you’ll spot somepotsthat you can break open in the area that will give you around 2 to 4 Crowns each. They can also provide you with other items,such as new gear or weapons.

How to Use Crowns in Atlyss

Once youhave some money in your inventory, there are a lot of resources that you’re able to purchase with this currency, including:

If you are visiting the Sanctum, you can visitSallythe Shopkeep for someweapons, gear, and consumables, and then take a trip toVivianthe Enchanter to have herenchantyour items. This can be any weapon or piece of gear that you have on you.

As for cosmetic items, you’re able to visit a multitude of shops and NPCs, or even trading hubs, to purchase items. You can visitSkrit’s Sikrit Market, which can be found just behind Sally’s store, or you can wait until some Special Event merchants show up as well. Make sure to spend your Crowns wisely and give your character the boost it needs to its weapons and gear.
