Rising Heat is the last of five DLC stages forAstro Botand home to the game’s final two Cameo Bots. As in all ofthe game’s other speedrunning stages, players will need to make it to the finish line before the two colored birds in order to be able to rescue these VIP Bots, which may prove to be a lot easier said than done for some players.

Thankfully, there are one or two corners to be cut here, allowing players to shave plenty of time off of their personal bests. With the following Rising Heat walkthrough,Astro Botplayers can learn how to finish the stage in 75 seconds or less. It’s possible to go even faster, but those just looking to rescue the two Cameo Bots needn’t worry too much about that.

How to Complete Rising Heat

Rising Heat requires players to use the Monkey, which is arguably one of the most annoyingpower-ups inAstro Bot. To combat this, players should head to the Accessibility menu and turn Controller Tilt Assist on, as this will enable them to move the monkey arms considerably faster just by spamming the L2 and R2 buttons one after the other. They’ll also be able to use the left analog stick to control Astro while he’s in the air after swinging from a pole, which can make life a lot easier.

Awkward controls aside, Rising Heat is actually a fairly simple stage to clear. The only things that players need to watch out for are the circular disk on the ground that needs to be slammed with both hands and the tilting platforms. They can make the latter steeper using Astro’s jets, which will in turn allow them to skip over a couple of bananas. With tilt assist on, though, players should have very little trouble clearing Rising Heat quickly, which bodes well for those hoping to unlockthe stage’s two Cameo Bots.
