After a long wait, the highly-requested Fresh Vanilla servers forWorld of Warcraftare finally coming back on June 26, 2025, but things are a little bit different this time around. In 2019, the original launch ofWoW Classicsaw the release of severaldifferent servers for each type, including RP servers, across all time zones.

This time, theWoW Classicfresh release date will allow players to play on one of three megaservers for each region (except AU): one server for PvE, one for PvP, and one for Hardcore. This unfortunately does not include RP servers, but players in the EU, NA, and recently-announced Oceanic regions can refer to this list of allWoW Classicfresh servers to learn which server type isright for your preferred playstyle.

Which WoW Classic Fresh Server Should You Choose?

The three different server types provide players a choice between three different experiences.

Ultimately, choose theWoW ClassicFresh server that most suits your style of gameplay. If you like to take your time and are familiar withWoW Classic, try Hardcore Mode for something newthat will challenge your skills. If you want to engage in World PvP, you mustcreate a character on a PvP realm. But if neither of these play styles appeals to you, go with the PvE server.

If you are playing in the OCE/AU region, your only localized option is Maladath, the AU server. This is a PvP server, so if you want to play PvE, you will have to connect to the Dreamscythe (US) server.

You can create characters on all three servers, you are not restricted to choosing just oneWoW Classicserver. But you can only create characters of a single faction on the PvP server. Choose carefully between the Horde and the Alliance, as you will be locked into that faction. The only way to create a character of the opposite faction on a PvP server is to delete your existing characters.
