Candlehops are some sort of creatures inDragon Age: The Veilguardthat players can collect while exploring Dock Town. However, keep in mind that not all candlehops are available from the start, as some are locked behind certain quests.
Upon collecting all candlehops in Dock Town, Rook will be guided to a secret room in the Shadow Dragons base that contains a couple ofchests inDragon Age: The Veilguardand a Unique item. There are a total of sevencandlehop locations inDragon Age: The Veilguard, so make sure to collect them all to enjoy the rewards.
Candlehop Location #1
The first candlehop location is next to the secret entrance of the Shadow Dragons' hideout. It’s probably the first candlehop players will encounter while completing Neve’s Companion quest, A Study of Dock Town, which triggers the search for the rest of the candlehops.
Candlehop Location #2
you’re able to find the second candlehop in the Temple of Andraste courtyard. Enter the temple then head south through the small door to find it next to a table with a note on it.You might have to kill enemiesupon entering the temple.
Candlehop Location #3
Head northeast of the Dock Town and climb the ladder. Jump to the other roof, then drop south to the wooden platform. Drop again to the ground below to find the candlehop before a closed door between two wooden structures.
Candlehop Location #4
Go to the waypoint near the catacombs entrance and turn east to climb the ladder to reach small docks overlooking ships and claim the fourth candlehop.
Candlehop Location #5
Travel to the western docks and approach the ship. Use it to cross to the other side wherethere is a chest inDragon Age: The Veilguard, and climb the stairs across. The candlehop is inside this small room.
Candlehop Location #6
You will getinvited to the Black Emporiumsometime after progressing into Act 2 and completing some side quests. The candlehop is found inside the main room near a table full of trinkets and items.
Candlehop Location #7
After completing a couple of Neve’s companions' quests, you will eventually work with Thread and unlock a previously locked section of the Docks Town. Travel to the Thread Market and head west to go inside a room. The seventh and final candlehop is on the corner.
After collecting all candlehops inDragon Age: The Veilguard, return to where you found the first creature (in the Shadow Dragon’s base) and interact with the one near the blue barrier to remove it. Head inside to open chests and enjoy the rewards.
