Agatha All Along Season 2 Kathryn Hahn

During an interview with theLos Angeles Times, Hahn claimed that she has not had any conversations about reprising her role as Agatha Harkness. Hahn commented onwhat theAgatha All Alongending meansfor Harkness and Billy, expressing her love for the role and keeping an open mind about the future. However, Hahn added that she views the ending as a “satisfying” goodbye to Agatha:

Even though obviously now Billy/Wiccan is not her son, there is some sort of hope for her that she’s able to maybe do for him what she couldn’t do for Nicky. I think they do make a great team. Of course, I love this part and I love Joe Locke madly, and we’ll see what the future holds. […] In my mind, this was a beautiful and satisfying way to say goodbye to this incredible character I had to play.

By MCU standards,Agatha All Along’s ending is simple. The events of the series didn’t have an impact on the wider MCU (at least not yet) and the series ending focused on the relationship between just two characters. Hahn noted that while she is unaware of how fans reacted to theAgatha All Alongending, she’s proud of what they accomplished with the series' conclusion:

But I do know how proud we are of it and how subversive and radical it felt to have an ending, especially a big Marvel show, be that small and tender and have this little beating heart.

Of course, just because Marvel Studios and Hahn haven’t discussed Agathan Harkness' return, that doesn’t mean there aren’t ideas for her future. Marvel Studios’hinted atAgatha All Alongseason 2 plansby submitting the series for Best Comedy Series categories for the 2025 awards season instead of the Limited or Anthology categories. While this is hardly confirmation of a second season, it indicates that Marvel Studios is leaving the door open for the story to continue inAgatha All Alongseason 2 or a different series.

Aubrey Plaza’s Death is rumored to get an MCU spinoff, which could be the perfect avenue to continue Agatha and Billy’s adventures. Then there’s the upcoming Vision series starring Paul Bettany. It remains to be seen if and how Marvel Studios plans to follow up on the quest to find Tommy Maximoff, but it’s a significant plot to leave unresolved. So, fans must wait to see how the Maximoff children reunite and what implications it will have for the MCU.
